A look into the rich historical & cultural heritage of
the Boholanos. Visit the magnificent centuries-old churches
in the towns of Loon and Maribojoc in the northern part of
Bohol.
The tour continues to the southeastern towns of Baclayon to
visit one of the oldest churches in the province, and the
Romanesque design church of Dauis town with its well-preserved
painted ceilings.
Highlighting the tour is the Clarin Heritage House. Sample
the lifestyle of the old elite when you tour the interior
of the once-known Nipa Place. In contrast, visit a typical
native house and experience the quiet and simple life of the
rural folks.
In Loay town you will see some of the local backyard industries
like knife-making and nipa weaving.
