Wanderlust is an inborn affliction, and travel host Caroline J. Howard is certainly a victim. With roots in places as far apart as Davao and Cavite, Caroline has gone back and forth, in between and beyond to satisfy that unquenchable thirst for exploration.

         As a lover of anything "au naturelle", Caroline has produced and anchored "Earth Dispatch", a 30-minute weekly environmental news magazine for ABS-CBN. She looks forward to visiting places such as Sagada, Vigan and Guimaras, destinations that promise a sure "one-with-nature-experience". Despite the exciting diversity of her travels, Caroline says it is a clean, solitary beach she loves best, along with the added treat of the scent of sea breeze and the sound of the waves.

         And yet Caroline is in touch with nature in more ways than one. She is an avid writer with an MA in Creative Writing from U.P. Diliman. As a freelance writer, she has had both fiction and non-fiction works published in local and national publications. It is her job as a travel host, however, that lends her the most opportunities to write.

         With writing in her blood and exploring, an inborn proclivity, Caroline Howard is a perfect fit to Lakbay's serious side of travel.
