Tabuan (meaning "market place") is usually celebrated as a day for farmers, fisherfolks, traders and buyers where there is an exchange of goods, merrymaking, street dancing as a thanksgiving for blessings and bountiful harvest. Pista Y Kagueban (Feast of the Forest) 3rd Saturday of June - An annual massive tree planing and environmental conservation activity intended to reforest and rehabilitate denuded areas in the city; participated in and celebrated by all citizens as well as by tourists and visitors of Puerto Princesa City.
