SUBIC
The Subic Bay Freeport in Olongapo City, Zambales, was once an American naval base. It lies at the heart of Asia and is easily accessible to all major cities in Asia. It is being developed as a a globally competitive center for industry, commerce, finance, investment, and tourism, and has now become one of the Philippines' international gateways, and one of Asia's newest tourist destinations.

Subic offers the best variety of tourism and recreational attractions-white sand beaches, clear bay waters, and tropical forests amid a progressive business area. It is also a popular site for Spanish, American, and Japanese diving wrecks, and is adjudged one of the best wreck dive sites in Asia.

Subic Bay Seaport
Serves as an alternative port to the South Harbor in Manila and Poro Point in La Union in discharging containerized and bulk cargo to and from various manufacturers in Central Luzon.

Subic Bay International Airport (SBIA)
Serves both domestic and international flights, and is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration as a modern facility with state-of-the-art safety, navigational, communication, and meteorological systems.

Subic Bay Arts Center
A theater with a 560-sitting capacity and unexpanded stage to accommodate full-scale musicales and other artistic endeavors.

Grande Island
Site of Fort Wint-a heavily fortified and armed outpost guarding the entrance to Subic Bay. It is a recreational area for visiting US sailors.

Tappan Park
Olongapo's oldest park

Spanish Gate
Also called the West Gate, used by the Americans for many years as the main gate to the fortified Spanish naval settlement that was Olongapo.

SBMA Exhibit Hall
Features various photographs and documents that depict the history and development of Subic Bay and Olongapo City from a Spanish arsenal and US military facility to a prosperous business center in the Asia Pacific.

Jungle Environmental Survival Training (JEST)
Ideal for eco-tours. Used by the US Forces preparing for the Vietnam War.

Pamumulaklakin Forest Trails
Ideal for eco-tours and jungle trekking.

El Kabayo Riding Stables
Offers trail rides into a virgin forest.

Subic Bay
A top-class diving area for wreck divers.

Subic Bay Lighthouse
An old lighthouse that offers a panoramic view of the area.

USS New York Wreck
An excellent wreck dive, once a battle cruiser launched in the USA in 1891.

San Quentin Wreck
A Spanish gunboat scuttled in 1898. It is the oldest known wreck in Subic and a popular dive spot.

El Capitan Wreck
A 3,000-tonne freighter which went down in the mouth of Ilanin Bay. It is another excellent wreck dive.

Ilanin Bay
A small and pretty islet in the east coast of Subic Bay.

Dungaree Beach
Ideal for picnics

Bicentennial Park
Offers a good picnic spot for families.

Rizal Park
The oldest park in the city, used as a site for various programs and significant public gatherings.

Friendship Park
A long narrow park adjacent to the US Naval Base.

Enchanted Castle
Situated on a coral reef not far from the shoreline of Baloy Beach Resort. It is a drinking and eating place for visitors, as well as a good scuba diving spot.

Petron International Subic Raceway
Used as a venue for international race events.

Royal Subic Duty Free Mall

Triboa Bay Mangrove Park
Home to a nursery and breeding site for birds, fowls, and fishes.

Waterfront Boardwalk
Offers a view of Subic Bay and the mountains of Redondo Peninsula.

Apaliin Trail

Cubi Point Zoo
A mini-zoo that also serves as an environmental education center. It features monkeys, a python, wild pigs, turtles, eagles, and a Butterfly Farm.
