The Central Visayas is strategically located at the center of the Philippines. The region offers an extensive variety of attractions, activities, and experiences for anyone who visits it. All four provinces boast of historical, cultural, and natural richness: from Cebu and Bohol's superb white sand beaches, world-class beach resorts, excellent dive sites, and well-preserved historical landmarks; to Negros Oriental's bird sanctuary, mangrove parks, spectacular waterfalls, caves, and underground rivers; to Siquijor's old stone churches, natural spring pools, and fine, white sand beaches.

TRAVEL ADVISORY In reference to the recent incidents in Davao and Palawan, the Regional Office has been closely coordinating with the Police Regional Office No. 7 thru COL. JONATHAN MIANO, Chief, Regional Intelligence and Investigation Division (RIID) to intensify police visibility at places and establishments which are frequented by local and foreign tourists. Likewise, coordination was with the different resort managers, owners and security officers, the Visayas Command, other AFP units and the Coast Guard for the establishment of an integrated security plan.
